Prof (Dr.) Shalini Sharma is currently serving as the Principal of Government Degree College, Majalta. She brings with her 26 years of rich teaching and administrative experience. Her academic journey is marked by a deep passion for English Literature with a specialisation in poetry. Her doctoral research delves into the nuanced realms of poetic expression. She has contributed significantly to curriculum development in Jammu University and Cluster University of Jammu. She has organised and chaired several National seminars and literary events. Under her guidance, the college has seen remarkable infrastructural and academic progress. Her contributions to the field of English Literature are both academic and inspirational. She continues to inspire through her dedication, scholarship and visionary leadership.
